Had a very lovely meal there. The soup filled dumplings were delicious. The right balance of savory and sweet with notes of nuttiness and very satisfying. The wontons in spicy broth were fantastic. That broth though, it was even better. I ended up using it for other dishes as it was so flavorful and balanced. Finally we had the rice cakes and veggie plate. The flavor there was amazing as well, I did not know what to expect but the rice cakes were gummy and soaked in the rich garlic and spinach flavors nicely. All in all the meal was lovely and the service was good considering how busy it was.

ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS have the best experience at Din Tai Fung, whether it's at the bar or at a table. Service cannot be beat and food is consistently bomb every time. My favorites include the cucumbers, garlic beans, any dumplings and now the dessert dumplings. Did not know that was a thing until the last time I went and a friend introduced me. These are dumplings filled with chocolate and they are heavenly. I don't think I will be able to skip on them from now on, they will be a permanent fixture in my order. If you haven't tried them, do yourself a favor and get them. You won't regret it. Also should be noted- I'm not even a big fan of chocolate and these still blew me away. Pretty much like everything else here. This place will always be worth the wait in my opinion, and believe me, you WILL wait so be prepared. Go shopping, it helps pass the time rly fast and they will text you when your table is ready so you don't have to worry about being there and listening for your name to be called.

Having eaten Din Tai Fung more or less weekly when I lived in Singapore I was a tad concerned about whether the taste would match and I wasn’t disappointed in the least! I took 3 friends with me as they wanted to experience what I’d raved about for years. We arrived before opening and consequently queued for a short time but nothing like the wait we were expecting having read many reviews. I have to say I’ve read some very negative reviews and disagree with every single one of them. Please remember this is not a Dim Sum restaurant, it is a dumpling restaurant!! Very different concept. Nothing disappointed at all. The food was as delicious as in Asia. The staff were very efficient, very friendly and couldn’t have been any more helpful. We tried absolutely everything we’d been drooling over on our copious menu readings prior to our visit and for four of us the bill came to £160 so we were most happy to pay that. I cannot recommend enough that you make the effort to visit Din Tai Fung, we will certainly be back!!!

WOW!!! Went for lunch and ordered a variety of dumplings. Each had great flavor and texture. You could taste every ingredient in each bite. It's obvious they care about what they're making. So much better than my experience with dim sum in San Francisco's China Town. The wait staff was impressively helpful and attentive. Based on the size of the crowd waiting to get in, I'm not the only one who loves this restaurant.

6 STARS...This place is small. So, if you can go about 3 pm is probably the best time. If you choose the evening, be prepared to wait for an hour or 2. This place was worth the 1 1/2 hour wait for us. The staff is great. They are willing to help with any questions or concerns you may have. Food was amazing, great and unbelievable. I really do not words to write. This place is a, "Must Eat Here"!
    Unbelievable!!!!
