My brother and I had the Tonkotsu Udon. It was very flavorful. Very nice broth, the noodles were perfect, with a little touch of spice. I only wish the pork hadn't been so fatty. Still fabulous, and I will definitely go back.
The taste of udon broth is clean, not salty. The volume of noodle is enough for regular size. Kakke udon is good with fresh tempuras. Best bet is Nikku udon with half boiled egg. It taste like a Gyudon. Kitsune udon is good but I prefer one from Shinsengumi. Thumbs up for selection of tempuras. Highly recommended.
The line moved really fast. Food was really good. Price was decent. But you have to get there at odd times if you don't want a long wait. Seating is very limited. And on a side note, their floors are super slippery so he careful
They had great Udon, really like the consistency of the noodles and the broth. The line was a bit long but it moved relatively quick. Plenty of seating and there are restrooms inside as well. Just as good as their other locations, I had Marukame in Honolulu and this location was just as good.
So glad to have this great new udon spot. Noodles made from scratch in house. You can watch the process as you stand in line. Great selection of side dishes. The design of the restaurant is really nice!
