“We were staying at the Rutz and wanted to do a sit down steak dinner. We made reservations and were told there was no real dress code. It was casual dress but no beach attire. We showed up and were greeted warmly. We asked the waitress for a few suggestions and I can tell you this...she nailed it because we enjoulyed every morsel of food we had. 1. The Ribe eye was cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth goodness. 2. Seafood tower did not disappoint. The lobster, Alaskan crab legs, giant prawns and oysters were fresh. 3. California onion soup was perfect. The cheese melted to perfection and the bread they used was crispy on top. It was just out of this world good. Could probably feed 2 people. 4. Truffle mac. I dont recall the name they used but oh man if you love truffle this is a must try. 5. The baked brussels sprout was not soggy which is perfect. They crack teo quail eggs on top and it was googey goodness. We were so stuffed that we didnt get to try theor dessert but definitely a place I would come back to. Did I meantion the service?! It was hands down one of the best service we had ever had and they made us feel at home. They didnt judge us when we walked in with jeans and a sweatshirt. They smiled, joked with us and made the experience that much better. Love this olace and would come again.”

“This is a great cafe inside the Ritz. They offer everything you would expect from a cafe, my favorite being an iced vanilla latte, which they pull off very well. However, they have a great assortment of snack and pastry that are made in house. All the items I tried were quite delicious. Besides the good food offerings, they have some great places to work or relax with a book if need be. Definitely a great addition to a wonderful hotel.”

“Wonderful way to spend a Saturday at Raya by acclaimed Chef Richard Sandoval. Not the first visit nor will the final one---as the views are "sans égal" like cuisine at the Ritz Carlton. Thanks to Emily, Cameron and our vehicle attendant Ryan (water yeah!) Hope to see you again. Raya sports a modern atmosphere and cuisine. Views of life on the sand while sipping coffee was Mozart to my senses. Roses were purple and added an elegant prop for photos. A new and truly magnificent roaring fireplace prompted a smile on the way to Raya---go straight and then left from main entry. Delicious.”

“This particular location of El Pollo Loco is so on the ball it is unreal. Every single time I walk in there or anyone walks in there for that matter they always greet you and always say hello and it's not just one person that does it it's several. Their food is always on point perfectly cooked and packaged very well and neat. They take time to ensure that you're very happy before you leave especially when you're doing take out. For example tonight when I got my three piece meal, I ordered all chicken breast and they felt that one of the chicken breast was not as big as it should have been so they showed me it before finishing packing it up and ended up giving me a thigh as well. I'm extremely pleased with this location I always have been and honestly I'm sure I always will be.”

I came in tonight at 8:58 just as they were about to close tonight and was able to get my sandwich with great service and smile even though it was so close to closing. “Club 19 is a great restaurant located by Monarch Beach with an absolutely beautiful view of the golf course and ocean. My husband and I were staying at the Monarch hotel and decided to stop by for breakfast. I would recommend sitting outside to make the most of the amazing view (just be careful of the birds that come and try to steal your food)! The breakfast options are filling, and the service is decent. We didn't really have any complaints, probably because we were too busy gazing at the scenery. I would also recommend stopping by at Monarch Beach after visiting the restaurant. It's just a quick shuttle ride away and is a private and quiet beach for anyone staying at the hotel.”

But, the staff was wonderful, they took great care to make sure that we all had what we needed, that the kids we're able to order and eat first. And finally, my toddler needed some milk, and woman who was working was really wonderful helping to get us some milk as he got tired.”
