Chicken in Barrel BBQ

Had the sampler with chili and Mac salad. Everything was awesome, but the ribs and chicken are the stars. Already planning my next visit to go through the rest of menu. Love new places like this in HB that are actually worth the money.

The atmosphere and service were also great!

The pulled pork was amazing! I think the worker said this restaurant is based in Hawaii. The pork was very moist, went well with the house bbq sauce they had. Service was very great, the workers are very kind.

I got the sampler platter and a side of coleslaw. The chicken is excellent. Well cooked, great flavor, and very tender. It's very good. Everything else, including the chili, is entirely forgettable. At least it was for me. I did a pickup order and they didn't include any sauce. That's right, BBQ platter with no sauce. This means the pulled pork and ribs were dry and mostly plain. The ribs were slightly undercooked though that might be by design. As for the coleslaw? I didn't get. I was charged $5 for a side and never got it. I even included a 15% tip even though it was pickup. I called into the restaurant and was told I would be refunded and contacted after that happens. I was not contacted but they did process the refund. Still, the chicken is good and perhaps this wouldn't happen dine-in. If you go, don't do takeout and double check your ticket to avoid the incompetence I suffered.

Rode my bike down and tried Chicken in a barrel BBQ today. I ordered the the #4 Chicken and Rib Plate. Overall though I’m not mad at it. 😊. Good smoke on the chicken and ribs.

Barnum the GM pulled us in. Got the sampler platter and he gave us a free pulled pork sandwich. Awesome! Oh and good
