“I eat at many flame broiler locations, my friend told me this location finally open, so we all came out to check it out. Of course, they having an awesome deal for grand opening event. “If you're a Cafe Rio fan then you know what the food taste like. However, there are some differences between the original restaurants in SLC and the CA locations. Ultimately, they are not competitively priced anymore. If you live by the beach this location is not as convenient because it is across the street from the Home Depot on Warner, but it beats going to Costa Mesa.”

“As we were heading to Huntington beach we got hungry and randomly stop by here to grab a quick bite. We got lucky, it was their grand opening day. Because we came in a big group the manager/boss decided to make us a family sampler meal (not on menu). We got to try most of their items on the menus. I have to say, it's a solid Hawaiian BBQ place. Best of all, we all got free drinks. Five stars for excellent customer service.”

“I'm not sure why this place has a 1 star review. Its essentially a better Flame Broiler with more options (seafood), more meat per bowl, better flavor, and slightly cheaper in price. Getting your food takes a little longer (not by much though) and is worth the extra minute wait. The parking lot kind of sucks though, it is very small. You may have to park in the other lot nearby. Gets pretty busy around noon. Definitely recommend ordering "to go" as the place is a bit cramped (but not nearly as cramped as flame broiler). I recommend to anyone who likes flame broiler. You will probably end up preferring this place.”
