“I don't live in this area so I found this place on google. First time eating here and I really liked it. I've been a raw food vegan pretty much for 8 yrs so I've tried several raw food places in that time. Today I had the combo plate ($13.00) to try a few things at once. All three items looked and tasted great. The food looked like the pictures on the menu and on the wall. Decent sized menu, good prices for the size of the items. It's easy to spend $50 in LA for casual raw vegan dinning. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area.”

“Love the Avila's chain of restaurants. This particular restaurant is just down the road from my house. Of all the restaurants this one is the smallest I've been to but the most eclectic. Over the years this restaurant has gone through many interior changes and is currently going through another large change. The quality of food is always excellent and the service is spot on. The only complaint I have is they occasionally try and squeeze to many tables into a small area. Last night I had a Cadillac margarita rocks that was excellent due to a strong pour and a tasty mix. My wife enjoyed a standard blended margarita. We both had our favorite for dinner, Mama Avila's soup. The large portion is huge and a complete meal. It includes lots of chicken & rice. Includes side garnish of cilantro, tomatoes, onion, avocado's and flour or corn tortillas. I added a crunchy beef taco. Without a doubt one of my all time favorite meals any time of the year.”

Not only does my hubby love it, but everyone we know who is from Chicago have made it their 'go to' place as well. If you're not in the mood for pizza, their meatball sandwiches are out of this world! If you get a salad, make sure to order their garlic house dressing. I like to get extra to take home. For the family, they have all you can eat spaghetti on Sunday. This place is family owned and you can definitely tell. Friendly service, great food, and reasonable prices. Not enough noodles and skimpy on the meat and also the basil. Broth was on the weak side but tasted good. The portion size at 8/9$ for Pho really threw me off. I haven't tried anything else here we only came for the Pho but that was rather disappointing.”

I don't recommended this place for big groups though, they only have two large tables that can accommodate more than 4 people. Service wasn't fast either, mind you it was a busy Friday night, so don't be in a rush if you come here.”
