“I am writing this review because of a change of heart. Several months ago I visited this restaurant and was kept waiting so long for my order that I demanded a refund of my money and left. I have never been back. Yesterday I decided to see if they had changed their service. What a wonderful surprise. I ordered the salmon salad and sat back with a book to await the long service. To my surprise after 15 minutes a waitress approached me and stated my order was going to take a few more minutes and would I like a bowl of clam chowder. The chowder was delicious and it was followed by a wonderful salad within a few minutes! I will definitely return and congratulate this restaurant on terrific changes in their service!!”

“I only give this four stars cause my food was not very warm... I went for Sunday breakfast and I really liked the atmosphere and the vibes! The food was good, just could've been warmer. I had an omelet and potatoes. Our server was friendly and efficient and checked on us just enough.. Not overly where it's annoying. Great place for a date or girls night out. Cool atmosphere, bar is really nice and lots of TVs in the bar to watch your fav sport. I will return again and I recommend this place!”

“#2 Special Combo - the broth is exquisite and the noodles are great. We love this place. the owner is very friendly and kind. I witnessed an interaction with someone who was trying to bring her dog into the restaurant and was quite belilgerent. The owner (I forgot his name) was so even-handed and kind, in the face of very bad behavior. I was very impressed. AND the food is great.”

“Jack in the box was my first fast food experience. It was my first sleep over night ever. My first best friend, and the first taste of store made french fries! I was in heaven back then and I still feel a little bit of nostalgia when I visit and enjoy my jumbo jack with cheese. The guest seating offers different highths of tables and chairs. I have noticed an unusual plus at this particular location. Children are welcomed and respected equally. I appreciate observing this with each visit. This, I think, sets a calm and enjoyable experience overall. The place is always clean and service is precision of excellence. Oh! The self serve drink station is state of the art AND serves my plain sparkly water. ???????????? Plus breakfast is served all day. Try the wee pancakes ????????????”

“I like the food at Cafe Rio and I like their drink selection. I appreciate restaurants that offer Coke Zero instead of just Diet Coke. But the wait to order food was ridiculously long. I waited at least 20 minutes, maybe even 25 just to order food. I ordered the Salmon tacos which were really good. But the prices have gone up so lunch with a drink was over $12. That seems high to me for a casual fast food place. I met a friend for lunch so I probably won't go here again for a weekday lunch unless I get there well before noon.”

“Stopped in for lunch and the service was great! Everyone was friendly and our food was brought to our table quickly and our order was 100% correct! The whole facility was very clean and the bathrooms were outstanding! Not only were the bathrooms extremely clean they smelled great which was nice. They also had a lower sink, soap dispenser and paper towel dispenser which was great because my child could actually wash her hands by herself.”

“A great local non-chain place to go in Lake Forest. Happy hour till 7 is great $3 domestic beers. We were there on a Thursday night during a football game, so even beyond happy hour there were NFL specials and nightly specials. We enjoyed some bacon wrapped jalapenos and a cheese pizza. Next time I need to spend some time waiting for traffic to lighten up I'll be back.”

“Great customer service. Was able to reserve a ham over the phone. Only complaint was there were 3 different cars that parked half in the handicapped spot. One pulled out, the car in front of us pulled in over the lines. And as we were leaving someone else did the same thing. It is not well painted, and the lines need to come out further, so you can see it.”

“If you grew up in The Valley, then Tommy's was a staple growing up. And, of course, who can forget the Tommy's run on all those late nights studying at SC. Though they're all supposed to be exactly the same, I've been to a few that made me wonder if they had 'borrowed' the Tommy's name without the franchise knowing about it. That is definitely not the case with this location. If you are craving the Tommy's burger from your childhood or college years, you won't be disappointed.”

“Note before reading: I am a basic poke eater. I got brown rice, edamame, avocado, salmon and spicy tuna with sesame seeds and soy sauce. I am new to eating poke so not sure how mix sauces and ingredients. As for the service it was easy to get in and out but don't come during lunch rush hour. The parking lot is still working on space. This will change in the future. The space is clean and has TVs on for entertainment. The music playing is very Reggae which I love. I will come back.”

“Showed up @ 5:30 on Sat. The place was a ghost town. Two different waitresses took or order. It took a while for our order so they brought us complimentary Corn Bread. It was warm, sweet, moist with a bit of a crispy top: best we have ever eaten! Truly heavenly. Pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches were very fresh and tender. Beans were firm, hot and tasty. Fries come with nicely browned "skin-on". Used a coupon and may go back if coupon shows up again.”

“Their pork and leek dumpling is really good. The flavor is very similar to my mother's recipe when she made the filling and kneaded the dough herself. We also had the 3 flavor spicy seafood noodle.
