“So you know your walking around Rodeo 39 and there are so many places to stop and eat, well let me tell you you HAVE to come to Sweet G's, these cookies are like heaven in your mouth! “Being Vietnamese and growing up in little Saigon it's nice to see more Viet businesses branch out to other parts of the OC. I never saw black Banh mi and have seen squid ink buns in asia, so thought I tried it. You don't taste anything different with the black buns but I loved that they toasted the Banh mi and the feelings were delicious and even the pickled veggies didn't smell too strong. Coffee was also thick and creamy and I loved it. They take card too. Only thing was waiting area was super warm from the Banh mi ovens.”

“Food was delicious. I ordered the Laotian BBQ rib plate with fried rice. Side salad was tasty and fresh. Fried rice had a good flavor and the ribs were well cooked and seasoned. The only downside were the multiple bone fragments I ended up having to pick out of my bites after finding them in my mouth. Maybe a different cutting and cleaning process would help alleviate this problem. Otherwise delicious food and great service.”

“Grabbed a few chicken strips and sauce around their opening because I work nearby. My coworkers and I LOVE the chicken! Its very high quality and the quantity amount for the price is extremely fair! Today tried the chicken sand which, which was fantastic! The toasted bun and melty cheese is amazing and pairs very well with the slaw. The fries are decent and the seasoning on them is delicious~ Definitely recommend if you're craving a GOOD chicken tender and some fries on the side 😎”

“Still giving this place 5 stars, even though my last experience here happened to be not as welcoming by the service as my previous 4 visits before. The black garlic tonkatsu dish is def my favorite, with the most flavor and bang for your buck. The location is niche and pretty cool for being in a place not really known for hip and trendy type of dinning. It would be nice to see the customer service improve some, maybe a little more engagement from the staff. Also better napkins, they have used the really small ones that seem to always fall apart and tear quickly. Def be going here again soon, and hopefully it will be just as tasty and maybe better service next time. Would hate to have to bring down my review to a 4 or less star rating.”

“Best Yemeni food in California no doubt. I've been to Yemeni restaurants in San Francisco. Oakland, and Fresno where sizable Yemeni communities live but this is by far the best.
