“I've been getting my takeout here for 12 years. One reviewer said the food they got was old... impossible!!! Food is ONLY made to order. Your taste buds are dead. The "rice bowl" is the best way to go. No matter what you order you get a lot of food. This place makes the best Chinese and Cantonese I've found in Sacramento or Placer county. Fats is really good but takeout orders never have enough food. Golden City usually gives enough for two meals and to me, tastes the same. Authentic recipes used at both places. I usually add a side order of spring rolls... tastes great!”

“First time checking this place out, it was absolutely delicious. We ordered the money bags to begin with followed by drunken noodles with shrimp and the crab fried rice. For dessert we had their sticky rice with mango. It was all really delicious. Also, if you sign in on yelp you receive 10% off and the sticky rice with mango was free when leaving a comment. Atmosphere was really nice as well and staff was very friendly.”

“This place is incredible! My grandson (and my husband and I) just love this place!! So many games and also have a few rides! The have the bumper cars which is their favorite! The buffet offers many varieties of pizza and other foods as well! Lot of salads and vegetables too! We will being going again very soon. The prices are very reasonable which is a plus! Their Burger with the best quality Bleu Cheese on a fresh ground burger, and huge at that, was the best I've tasted in years. Being a Grass Valley resident just loved to feel the ambiance of such distinction and see wait staff who really know what they are doing- as in excellence of service. We just don't get hospitality in our little town like this.”

“Never heard of this place before, took a chance and found my favorite place to eat! The staff was VERY knowledgeable about their food, how it's cooked, what's in it, etc. The menu has down home cooking, and specials every night. The first night I tried them out the special was Beef Stroganoff. Wow, better than I can make any day. The waiter said they slow roast their beef for hours, and the gravy is made from scratch. In fact all their items are made from scratch.”

“First time at a Cattlemens. Took the kids. Sat in the bar area at a table because there was no wait like there was to get a table. Waitress was sooo nice and friendly. We ordered calamari as an app. Calamari won me over to start. Had the legs and all which most chain restaurants don’t have. Ordered the prime rib as my meal. Very tasty. The mashed potatoes were delicious. The baked beans were a bit spicy so I don’t eat much. Also loved the bread they give. The kids ordered steak and the other ordered chicken tenders. They both loved it. Very good experience. We will be back.”

I typically use online ordering to avoid the lunch crowds that can make your wait ten minutes or more. It's nice to be able to just walk up to the cashier, show ID, and pick up my sandwich. It's a great alternative to less healthier choices like a burger and fries.”
