“Nice little place, not much lighting, at least in the day time. Device was fast and the rolls also came out really quick. Not a bad place for what I got and I could tell the rice had an added flavor of garlic, which was a pleasant surprise. The rolls are made wider and shorter, so it does take a little more to put it in your mouth, but probably has the same amount as the longer skinny rolls. I was probably in and out in 20 minutes.”

“Took Mom there for an early mother's day. Despite getting there early before The Place was busy the service was slow but the waitress was attentive. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan and while the chicken was tasty, I could not get past the thick somewhat sour and burned tasting sauce. I'm sure others may love it but it was not close to what I was lucky enough to experience while in Italy. So, while I didn't love The Place, I still think it is worth trying as you may like it.”

“Stopped in this afternoon and tried the burger and corned beef sandwich. The burger was cooked perfectly, nice and juicy. Very tasty. The corned beef sandwich was also good, and the grill on the sourdough bread was just right. The service was very quick and friendly. They offer a full bar with liquor, beer, and wine. Convenient location right on Vernon Street in Old Roseville. A nice addition to the neighborhood. Check it out if your in the area.”

“Great food! I'm not a "bar" guy. Came in for lunch a while back and was pleasently surprised. Have had a variety of sandwiches since then and enjoyed most. (Had a really good steak sandwich once, but the last time it was tough and fatty). The calamari and garlic fries are really good. There's a lot of appealing things on the menu and I plan on trying them. And if you're here with friends there's lots of fun things to do: pool, darts, shuffleboard.”

“This is a newly remodeled location that is modernized with a contemporary style. The decor is very dark inside but has clean lines. Now you can order from one of four automated touch screens stations, or from a real person at the counter. If you are paying cash you have to go to the counter anyway so automated ordering doesnt really save time unless you are paying by card. There is a beverage dispenser in the dining area so customers can get their own refills. Also new instead of waiting at the counter for your order they issue a plastic number and bring the order to your table. This location did not replace the playplace so they no longer have one.”
