The meals and service were beyond my expectations. We really liked the vibes of this restaurant. Excellent restaurant to take the family out for lunch.
If you haven't been here you're missing out. Do yourself a favor and try the mushroom paitan. With an egg and some pork neck. This is definitely my all time favorite ramen spot in Sacramento.
Kodaiko arguably if not the best ramen shop in all of Sacramento. When you walk downstairs your automatically greeted with smiles of the staff and the warm and beautiful aromas from the kitchen and sound of well crafted, handmade drinks in the process. You can’t miss the beautiful art on the walls and on doors and the cultural toys and figures on the walls. The chefs put in there hearths in every bowl that comes out the kitchen and they do not miss the details. They spend a lot of time and energy on creating original flavors and when you leave you leave with happy stomach . The seats can accommodate you if your by yourself or if your with a family dinner. The chefs only use seasonal ingredients and only fresh products. All of the meals are prepared with love and a lot of respect for tradition. When eating your wonderful food if you want you can pair it with a drink from the bar that is filled love, joy and beautiful complex flavors.
The old bricks slick modern furniture give it a homey feel and makes the experience a little extra.
This place has a wonderful ramen. The entrance into it was cool and I got a good vibe from the place. We ordered six items off the menu and we were happy with all of them. The service was good and I love the open area. Overall everything was great I recommend trying it out.
Amazing pickled vegetables. Ended up starting with a sake and tonkatsu ramen, added egg and pork...amazingly delicious. This spot has an authentic Japanese vibe, even when you come in. It’s located underneath (walk down the steps). Maybe it’s not a big deal for you but I liked the big bathroom layout. Great job. Hours will change in the future, or so I was told
