Skip's Fish & Chicken

Wow I want to start with I love the clean restaurant. But what was amazing was the original Chicken Sandwich, so tender and juicy chicken with the perfect toasted bun. I also had the catfish to give it a try and wow I will be back from my Fish next time around. Thank you skip’s for opening in downtown K st

I had a Groupon and decided to come for lunch. The staff was really kind. It was pretty quick getting in and out. Maybe 7 to 10 minutes total.

I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich combo and a side of cole slaw.

The chicken was good. They put two nice size chicken tenders on a toasted but. The bun was soft and really good. The sandwich was good...however

The fries were cold and soggy...and the slaw was old...it was already browning...thats horrible. I was not so impressed that I would ever come back here.

They do have a soda fountain with many choices.

If they want more business...they must serve fresh food. There are far too many places to eat to choose to eat old food. Since I bought the Groupon I thought I would try it...i would never go back. It just wasn't that great where I said..its my favorite...

There are other places I eat on a more regular basis that is great...

Place has opened recently and this is actually my 2nd trip. I chose possibly the messiest item on the menu and it was worth it. It was a spicy chicken Mac and cheese sandwich, I was intrigued and had to order to it. The chicken was great, the spicy is a good spicy, and the Mac and cheese was yummy. Staff was nice and accommodating to me, even during the lunch rush. I will come back to try the fish and maybe the chicken tenders by themselves.

This place is amazing I have been here twice in less than 4 days. It has that flavor, texture, spice, super helpful staff, and just great atmosphere that is difficult to find. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and fell in love with chicken again. Then ordered chicken and waffle,I can't begin to explain how amazing it taste. It's like kiki's made a baby with crepeville lol
