Zocalo Restaurant Midtown

Went for a date night on a Thursday and was pretty happy with everything for the most part. Just a couple of disappointing points on the food.. the chips before the meal were cold and didn't taste very fresh. I ordered the mole enchiladas with chicken and cheese and--while the filling was delicious--the mole was overly sweet and was lacking any hint of chili peppers. The cilantro rice was definitely delicious and kind of stole the show on the plate for flavor.

If you're going to have a drink, I would highly recommend the blackberry margaritas, they're tart and delicious! I had mine with the casamigos silver tequila and it was fantastic. Our server was also attentive and kind. Great service overall even though they were very busy!

Delicious. Home made tortillas. Great service. Nice atmosphere. Large outdoor seating area lit up nicely to create a nice ambience.

Did I mention delicious? Reasonably priced.

It was okay. I went out with a friend; the atmosphere was cool, but the food/drinks could have been better.

? Hands down an amazing place to go. The food is amazing, hand crafted drinks are on point, staff is very attentive & the atmosphere even when busy (I'm Not a fan of crowded & loud restaurants) has a great vibe. You Must go if you've never been. At the top of my list of restaurants I can't wait to go have an inside, sit down meal once Newsome (?) allows for this to happen.
