“The coffee here is EXCELLENT and you can be sure it'll taste great EVERY TIME. It can get busy though so be prepared to wait, but it's worth it. I've been to a lot of Starbucks locations and this might be the best based on the taste of their coffee. I regularly make sure to get my coffee here whenever possible because I know I'll be getting the most out of my money. The employees are terrific as well. Always nice and the good energy gives you a boost to start your day in the morning. But that's really besides the point. As I already talked about, it's the amazing coffee that keeps me coming back here!”

“The vibe of this cafe is refreshing, relaxing, and all around just plain cool! I ordered a typical latte and the foam was so light and the roast was smooth going down. The comic store in the back is pretty extensive as well! The staff is friendly and called isnby our names and made sure we had everything we needed ? The only thing that kept me from giving five stars is how small the in store library was. But when I'm in the are and need a cup of coffee I'll definitely go again! “Visiting on business and only in Sacramento for a few days, I stumble across this little place by the Waterfront. Looks a bit shoddy from outside and inside its like a small cafe, but the food is to die for. Amazing home cooked quality, not expensive and a welcome surprise. I had the won ton to start and the Bumbu Bali which was exceptional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic meal which is great value for money.”

“Steamers is one of the few, if only, businesses in Old Sacramento that opens early like 07:00. This was a blessing as I was craving coffee and food. Which they had in style. I ordered the Frnch toast and then the early bird breakfast which is eggs, bacon, toast or potatoes. The French toast does not come with a combo and does not look like traditional square French toast which is perfectly fine. The French toast 3 large slices was cooked perfectly and to me had the right amount of cinnamon on it. The Early bird breakfast come with a healthy portion of eggs 2 slices of bacon and 2 slices of toast. The breakfast looked perfect. I actually ate everything which is a first for me. Coffee I had 2 cups and it was quite good as well. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Thanks for starting the day out right.”

The garlic flavor is very strong so if you're not a HUGE fan of garlic, ask for something a little more mild. The staff is wonderful! They have daily specials that are bold and priced right. The service is almost always good. It’s one of the few places on Natomas with an early night life. Cons: two different occasions my dessert tasted a bit like it had freezer burn or like it had been left uncovered in a walk in cooler for too long They serve complimentary bread during dinner and it is very tasty. HOWEVER, they serve it with a butter dish of hard, cold, individually wrapped butter comets. Why?! Give us some warm, spreadable butter for the good bread.”

“I've been coming here since a kid. The staff is generally friendly and they have a good variety of snacks and such. I did have an experience today that rubbed me the wrong way. I bought a Bubble water and two Power Bar Protein Plus bars (cookies n cream flavour). The bars are on sale for 50 cents but I got charges regular price for them. My total came out to be about $7 When I mentioned it, I was only refunded 50 cents. I didnt have time to argue because I was going to be late for my class but I am very upset by it. Never going to trust the sale markings again.”

“Amazing value and very good food & ambience. I love the ordering system that is in place. Come in, order, sit, then dine. Fantastic. The staff was courteous and professional. On this date, I had the avocado & bacon omelet that comes with toast, blackberry jam and seasoned potatoes. This cost about $12. Well worth it for the quality of food you get. The omelette was good, but the star was for sure the bacon. It's thick and chewy bacon, which I like. I am unsure if crispy bacon is an option for those who enjoy that. The potatoes were seasoned well with rosemary and were cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and chewy interior. The blackberry jam was tart and not overly sweet, which was something I appreciated. I highly recommend giving Cafe Bernardo a try if you have not. 5 Stars.”

“This place has so much to offer! Their smoothies and smoothie bowls are bomb, but my favorite thing there by far is their ice cream! All natural, dairy free and no refined sugar or dyes! The charcoal vanilla is my absolute favorite. I could eat it everyday and never feel guilty! I have a wheat allergy and Nekter staff is always on top of it making sure cross contamination is not an issue. Highly recommend them! Great for folks with food allergies!”

“I have been wanting to try this Noah's Bagels ever since it opened. This morning I finally got that opportunity and I was not disappointed. I had their Classic Bacon Cheddar Egg Sandwich on a Plain Bagel ( you can choose any bagel you prefer), and an Orange juice. It was very delicious. This Noah's is very popular. It was quite busy when I went on a Sunday morning. There is sufficient seating inside, but I chose to enjoy my breakfast at their outside seating area. If you have an opportunity, treat yourself to a delicious bagel and cream cheese spread. They have many different types of bagels and spreads.”
