The absolute best burgers on the mountain. Great service and great atmosphere love Jakes
We had a fantastic in this restaurant. We liked the superb vibes and the menu. The waiters were very personal. I am content we ultimately decided to visit this place.
This place is unquestionably one of the most attractive restaurants in the area. Every time I come to this place I am incredibly satisfied. They manage their high standard service and the topmost level of food they provide. You always win with this restaurant. Very recommended.
Jake's on the lake is a small family-run Burger Shack where you can stop to fuel up on food and petrol for your boat. It's got a boat dock with 20+ slips, and a nearby store for ice, beer, and other lake-day edibles.
You can get the Jake's on the Lake by boat or parking just off the highway.
Be warned, there is limited parking above the boat docks & parking can suck. It gets pretty full during the summer with all the boaters taking up spaces for the day.
Sad to say my review does not include the sampling of any food items, but I thought the pictures of the location and menu would be helpful.
On the day we went to grab a burger and check out the views, there were a few people in front of us (family of 3). We were disappointed because ordering was taking an exceptionally long time (15+ min). The 15 yo girl working the window & taking payment seemed befuddled.
We were going to eat, we heard the burgers are good. The long wait gave us time to reevaluate our choices.
A Gourmet 1/3lb. burger with "The Works (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, American cheese, 1000 Island dressing)", an order of fries, and a drink was $18 (+tax & tip).
I guess if you have a boat on the lake you don't much care about the prices and worry more about the convenience.
Only open during the season but a great place to enjoy the view and excellent menu
