Kitchen in the Desert

Cute new spot I recently visited in TwentyNine Palms. The food was delicious and I’m excited to see the property develop. If you’re in the area this place is chill to try.

Amazing little cafe in the middle of the desert. I had a salad that was so good I came home and tried to recreate it in my kitchen, roasted chicken that was some of the best I’ve ever eaten, and a side of fries. The fries were surprisingly good. When they came out covered in black powder that looked like char I was a little skeptical but I was told it’s actually cumin and they were delicious!

Fabulously delicious. Kale salad, jerk chicken, frittered apple donuts, chickpea appetizer called Doubles. Magical non-alcoholic drink concoctions like Paloma Fizz of fresh squeezed grapefruit, cucumber and rosemary water or lemonade with cucumber & cilantro. Seasonal menu specials, burgers and more.
Situated in a 29 Palms homestead style atmosphere. Loved it.

We stopped here after a long day of hiking. This place is super cute and has great outdoor and indoor seating. They we're busy with only one service person from what I could tell. She was friendly and did her best to get us seated and served quickly. First, the drinks. OMG! Yes you really need to pay $5 to have one they are insanely Great! The food came in a timely fashion. We had the veggie sandwich and the BLT with fries. Everything was perfect. This place is a must stop????????????

Excellent service and location. Cozy setting with available outdoor seating. The location has only been open about three years, but they have established themselves as one of the best local non commercial dining establishments in 29 Palms. I highly recommend coming here.
