“Delicious food!! Our family of 7 ordered the egg soup, sweet and sour shrimp, chicken and snow peas, Mongolian beef, bbq pork and vegetables, and lo mein and it was more than enough! Our family favorite was, by far, the sweet and sour shrimp. Staff service was quick, efficient, and very nice! The server was kind enough to take time to speak Mandarin with our family members who were learning or brushing up on their Mandarin!”

“Great place for great food and shopping! They have an extensive meat selection, as well as lots of German groceries and even some Indonesian. They even carry fresh Fleischsalat in the fridge! Prices are very fair considering import fees, etc. They also have excellent sausage selection. We ate first, then shopped. When you walk through the shop toward the back you can order food at the counter and then bring it to your table (menu is online if you want to look ahead of time). I got the Rouladen - comes with 2 sides, plus soup or salad and dinner roll. Big portion and absolutely delicious. I got mine with German potato salad and half-and-half Sauerkraut/Red Cabbage. Plenty of food, so come hungry! Salad is fresh & crunchy. Soups change daily. When we were there they had Oxtail and Potato soup. You can taste they are homemade - both excellent. Staff were all very nice and very friendly. We felt welcomed and appreciated. Will definitely be back!!!”

“I’m not a big pizza person but my boyfriend loves pizza and was a local. We live in Las Vegas but had to eat here while we are out here. The pizza was actually really good, but personally I loved the wings! They were perfectly flavored and super juicy. The atmosphere was great too. The owners were out and about chatting it up with everyone. Made us feel like we’ve all known each other for forever. I would for sure recommend!”

“Fantastic Mediterranean restaurant with patio seating in the heart of Carlsbad Village! I ordered the beef shawarma wrap with salad, as well as the hummus trio to share. All three kinds of hummus were excellent; they even had a hummus on the sweeter side that tasted like it was made with beets! The two pieces of pita bread that came with this were incredible. My salad was made of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, but felt a tad on the oily side for me. The freshness of the vegetables still ensured it was delicious though. Fries were also available if you prefer. The shawarma wrap was flavorful, and we served with tzatziki by default. I opted to add a garlic sauce, and was very sad when I had scraped the last drops onto the wrap. It was very good. The meat was crisp on the edges and flavorful, and the pita was light and fluffy. The outdoor patio seating bordering the street was a lovely place to sit and take in the sights and sounds of Carlsbad. I highly recommend visiting this tasty gem of a restaurant.”

Their portions are large and tasty whether the Grand Mariner French Toast for Breakfast or the Awesome BLT (with Avocado on Sourdough). There’s a wide variety of options for dinner, but definitely start with wings. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
