“My wife and I visited Baja Dogs recently at their Chula Vista location on third avenue. We ordered a couple of hot dogs that you actually prepare yourself. You first receive the bun and sausage wrapped in bacon and then it is up to you to add the toppings, from onions and tomato, to ketchup, mayo, cheese and many others. We liked not only the food but the atmosphere of this place. Dinning is outside . One things to complain about is limited parking. We tried to visit multiple times in the past but couldn't because parking was full. Highly recommended.”

“I visited the brewery on a Thursday afternoon with some colleagues. The brewery is in a great location with lots of parking, indoor and outdoor seating, and games for children. The Chula Vista brewery is really establishing craft beer in the Eastlake area which I felt like it was lacking. I ordered the strawberry kiwi seltzer and the crispy chicken which came with seasoned fries and it was delicious! Timothy and the staff took care of us, he even took some time to talk with us after our meal. Overall the vibe at this location was great and I will be visiting again!”

“I heard about this Cafe thru Google maps and it sounded good. I never mentioned it to the hubby, and he said let's have a little Halo Halo date night.🥰 I said, Oh yeah!! He said we've never been there before. And he took me here to Halo Halo Cafe.😁 This place is small, cute but they actually have a lot to offer. Little did we know they have a full blown kitchen in the back serving up meals! So my husband ordered Kare Kare (meat, veggies in a peanut buttery sauce) with white rice, his Coke, then of course we ordered Halo Halo, and to go I ordered the cantaloupe drink (it is sweetened with sugar cane). We kept buying a little and then a little more. :) The Halo Halo was crazy good! The cantaloupe was oh my gosh yummy (sweetened with sugar cane)! Growing up with a sugar cane tree, I truly can appreciate the delicious, nostalgic taste. The people were nice. My husband felt the quality was higher end. Hoping you all make the trip out to Halo Halo Cafe. It's now one of my favorites!”

“I got takeaway from here on a slow night on my second try. The sinigang fish head soup was good. Minus the fact that the way the guy packed it led to the soup spilling out completely all over the plastic bag. And got my lumpias all soggy! They need to invest in better takeaway soup bowls or soup cups. Instead of depending on saran wrap to keep things in place. However, depending on who packs it too. The ladies here were nice and gave good amounts for the combo plate when I first tried their food. Some days are better than others but I would return again to support small businesses.”
