Nado republic

What a great place. Food and service was excellent. When you are done, just walk next door to the best gelato in town (they are owned by the same people). As a born and raised resident of Coronado I find it refreshing to have a quality restaurant with reasonable pricing within walking distance of our home. The next time you are looking for a local place to dine, give this place a try.

As a Coronado resident, Nado Republic is a wine bar our community has needed for a long time. There is another wine bar on the island, but it has more of a retail ambiance. Nado Republic is a great place to relax with wonderful hospitality. The owners are from a city in Northeast Italy called, Vincenza. What I love most about this place is honestly the wine list. They offer a wide variety of Italian wines and they are wines you won't see in supermarkets. They are also starting to do more events where you can learn about the wines from their country. My favorite items to nosh on are the meat and cheese boards. Nado Republic is also kid friendly, my step son loves their gnocchi.

Super cool and cozy atmosphere. It really is like hanging out in your own living room. I could've stayed all night. Food is simple but not your typical Italian menu. Comforting, delicious and flavorful.
Great spot for a date, to just hang with friends or even a business meeting.
