Del Mar Rendezvous

I have had delivery from Rendezvous 3 times. The food is good. The pot stickers are not very good. The vegetable Lo Mein is the BEST I have ever had. BUT, every time something is forgotten, usually the rice. When you are packing an order to go who do you not double check it? When people order Chinese food they want their rice.

So glad this place opened in my neighborhood. Just had their Kung Pao lunch special and it was great. Wonderful flavors! They also offer a hot sambal/paste that is really, really tasty. Very, helpful staff that works hard to ensure you really enjoy your meal.

I will definitely be back!

Tried the duck which came with green beans and a side of bok choy, was good but not great. Have had better in many other restaurants. Service was very good. Would give 3.5 if I could, but not a 4.

Large selection and decent entree size. There is an entire menu for vegetarian and another for vegan. Ambiance is nice unless your next to the kitchen. It gets crowded with very little waiting room at the entrance. Food quality was mixed. The tangerine chicken was good but not spicy at all. I would not recommend the pot stickers, I've had better frozen ones at home. Deserts were excellent though. I could not give 4 stars because the restaurant and dishes were dirty. Glasses, plates and silverware had obvious spots and looked very worn.

We enjoyed our dinner very much! The food is very good, sufficient portions and beautiful environment. The staff is friendly and attentive. I definitely would go back.
