“Really good. I had eggs Benedict, Denver style.. Poached eggs, Canadian bacon, fried onions and peppers. Hollandaise sauce was just right. Potatoes chunk style on the griddle (excellent) They offer about 20-25 flavors of coffee, both decaff and regular. Located right on the main drag. Indoor or outdoor eating, so take Spike for a stroll and stop by. You won't be disappointed”

“The Lotus Cafe is a delightful vegetarian eatery plus a whole lot more. I had the vegetable curry bowl a hot, spicy explosion of flavor served with chapati. The Moonlight smoothie had an intense mango flavor but not too sweet, a perfect compliment to the curry. The outdoor veranda is dog friendly. Situated midway on Hwy 101 in downtown Encinitas. “We love this Swami's location and go often. The worst thing is trying to decide what to order, because everything is good. I love the chilaquiles, and if I don't feel like having beans and rice, they'll sub in the home fries. The portions are very generous, and the quality of food great. The team that works here are very efficient, friendly and they even bring bits of bacon out to the dogs on the patio.”

“Excellent bakery. While I was there, this lady with a rather thick French accent was buying about 18 croissants. A good sign I thought as I waited to be served! My friend and I were there for quite a while and the whole time the place had a constant influx of customers. Everything in the case looked really delicious and my Lemon Blueberry Muffin tasted a bit like cheesecake. Yum! There is seating indoors and even more seating on the patio. The atmosphere is pleasant but have a shawl or scarf with you because even when sitting indoors it is cool with so many people in and out of the bakery. I write this in December. Overall the service was good although after it was served I did have to ask for my muffin to be heated. It would have been nice if that had been offered by my server. It's a small thing that would have been appreciated. The quality of Champagne Bakery's products is high and the prices reflect that - that is not a complaint.. this is one place I highly recommend for great value for one's dollar. Recommended!”
