“Had a family dinner here on a Monday. We ordered anti-pasta salad, pepperoni pizza and a mixed spaghetti and meatball and ravioli. Orders came out in a decent time. Food was amazing. The dressing on their salad was delicious. It’s a home-made vinaigrette. The pizza sauce was also home-made and tasted really great with the pepperoni. The pasta dish had 3 big meatballs. But my favorite was the ravioli. The filling was very tasty and went well with the red sauce. On the side note, we also went at a good time/day. On Mondays, kids eat free and get a decent size of spaghetti and (1) meatball. The staff were also great and attentive. Overall, my family enjoyed the evening at Borrelli’s. A little sad that there’s no Borrelli’s closer to home than this one. But definitely worth the drive and will definitely come back again.”

“Jorge's is like the little Engine that could. It exemplifies the true meaning of a hidden gem. Tucked in deep in a shopping a center that if you don't carefully look, you'll miss it. Here's my suggestion, carefully look and double look, or simply stop and ask because if you miss it, then you've missed out on THE BEST SOUP in all of San Diego County, heck even Southern California for that matter. Food is amazing, I found this place in 2005, been coming here since. I live deep inland, 24 miles away and still visit once a week, yea it's that good. Don't believe me, try it for yourself. Try the soup. You'll thank me and especially Jorge's later.”

“The Penne Rosa is great, along with the cheesy garlic bread and the Chicken Veracruz Salad. Kids love the spaghetti (with or without meatballs). Their pot stickers are also really good. I'm not a big fan of the Japanese pan noodles (too sweet and the type of noodles isn't my favorite). Just tried the zucchini peanut saute and it was good. Always fast and friendly service.”

“Sushi House is the best!!! The fish is so fresh!! They get it in almost every day. The chefs are creative and fun, the prices are reasonable. Sit at the bar to have a fun time watching the chefs make the dishes or get a table with great service and a full menu. My mom wouldn't eat sushi but she loved going in there with me and watching Jon make our food. Extremely clean too. My Japanese mother in law would fly in from Hawaii and want to go see Jon at the Sushi House. She was very picky about her sushi so that tells you something.”

“I love the chicken sandwiches here. I really love that they have an option now for the grilled chicken. He used to be just grilled chicken with a Basics but now they have a grilled chicken club sandwich which is delicious! Their spicy chicken sandwich is still amazing as well as their regular club sandwich. They're shakes are pretty good and the chicken strips or of course delicious! I love all of their sauces, the house sauce is my favorite though! The location in Encinitas does not have the sauces out for people to get themselves which I definitely prefer.”
