“This place is truly one of the 'delights' of San Diego let alone one of the best reasons to visit Grand Ave in Escondido. The quality of the pastry selection is superb if not decadent. Today I'm splitting a pate on baguette sandwich with my daughter. Delicious and a very generous portion. The interior decor is bright and uplifting. And the service is very personal and on point. I'm so glad this establishment is open again.”

“I always love going to Marie callender's and this time was no different. I enjoyed the soup and salad bar. Their potato cheese soup is incredible! Marie Callender's is also a fabulous place for happy hour. They have great deals and it's like a restaurant inside a restaurant. Before we had kids we enjoyed many delicious happy hours in the bar. Marie Callender's is great for more than just delicious pie!”

“I've been to this location in the Mall for year's. I love the Broccoli and cheese Soup with the hard crust bread. I don't order sandwiches anymore especially if it's after 5 PM due to the available bread's being often limited and just not seaming fresh. Since they make a lot of Their bread's, I guess it all depends on how busy it's been. But the Soup is great! It's always pretty clean and the service is good, but I wouldn't say great just due to the lack of items available on any given day. I understand not wasting food and having to limit certain things. But would recommend it.”
