“This place was almost hidden, but well worth the find. If you like spicy food, this is the place for you! The gumbo makes you sweat, even the ceaser dressing was spicy to me, but everything had amazing flavor! The best items we tried were the soft shell crab and the crab cake. Both, will be my reason to return. This place has huge portions and lots of options, so come hungry. Can't wait to go again.”

We were welcomed by a young man who was able to answer all our questions and give great recommendations. The lomo especial is worth trying!! This is one of those places that serve from the heart! This Small gem can be found on 13th St right off Coronado ave. With the base right down the street they even offer military discounts!! So glad I found my go to for a quick bite. “I have already tried the new taco place in town a few times. There is no doubt there tacos are delicious. I've tried carnitas, adobada, pollo asada, birria and they were all tasty and flavorfull. My only complaint is the tacos are pretty small but if you go on Tuesdays and Fridays tacos are only $1.50. Definitely worth it. If you go on a normal day the tacos are almost $4 each.”

“Support a local family business. :) IB local nutrition is ran by a husband and wife who are very friendly, helpful and you can tell they love what they are doing. The drinks they provide are awesome. I had a meal replacement and I think energy drink not sure exactly. It was delicious and helped me through a long stressful morning. On a hot day I recommend treating yourself to the watermelon chili lollipop drink (pictured) you will not be disappointed.”

“The Scoreboard is a small sports bar in Imperial Beach, Ca and this is the first time we had ever been there but i can honestly say it won't be the last! The food we ordered was so delicious. I had the Ruben & it came with fries. Both the Ruben and the fries were fantastic. My friend had the Smash Burger and said it was so good!!! The waitress was so nice and friendly. This place is on our list of "must go back" again places.”

“This Starbucks is in the backside of a shopping center. It is mostly a neighborhood shop with few tourists or visitors. Two things to point out. They have a drive-thru but it's situation in this weird configuration that you would never know. Which leads to the second point. They cater to the drive-thru crowd. If you are going to be ordering inside the store. Expect to wait a while for your drink to be served. They prioritize the car customers.”

“Just opened in March of 2020 and you must try! Hands down best Mexican Seafood restaurant in Imperial Beach and possibly San Diego! The shrimp & octopus ceviche is delicious and some of the best octopus I have had in United States. Also how they do there rice and beans is far better then others in the area which is just wonderful. Once the restaurant opens fully I will take some more images of the area and dishes they have.”

“I don't know where to begin everything was incredible staff and food. They provide a homemade butter garlic popcorn while you wait. They have this bread and butter that is absolutely original and creative. I am originally from NY and this is the ONLY place anywhere out here that has salt potatos let alone AUTHENTIC. They have specials everyday and I had there fresh yellow fin tuna dish absolutely to die for!!! Their restrooms are immaculate and the place has such a cozy feel! Everyone is welcomed and they make you feel right at home I can't wait to post pics!! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!”

“Incredible tacos at a great price. Came in on a cold Sunday afternoon tired and hungry. The restaurant is part of the brewery, so we were able to order at the bar. “Great new Thai restaurant that is hands down better than the other two in the area! The staff is great and willing to help make the order how you would like it. They actually make a 10 out of 1-10 for spicy food so ask for that 10! The restaurant is kept very clean. The only down side is parking is tight, but is not the end of the world. I haven't had anything that I didn't like yet , which is a great sign. Great job guys!”
