Lovely place ❤️ Our waiter Lucas was super nice. The French onion soup was the best I've ever had. And the lemon rose tea (made with fresh ingredients by the owner) was so yummy.
Easy access for wheelchairs. Serve breakfast and lunch. I was there with my daughter for lunch. Wonderful soups, sandwiches and salads as well as yummy combinations of the later. Good selection for vegetarians. Nice selection of craft beers and wines. Services slow, but friendly. Located right on Main Street with views of same. Flower bouquets available.
We've tried a lot of places in Julian, but this seems the best. It's unpretentious and seems to cater as much to the local crowd as visitors.
We both had a cup of tasty French onion soup, a half sandwich -- curried tuna salad and a BLT with Applewood smoked bacon -- and salad. I had a pot of hot tea; it turned to be fresh brewed with exceptionally fragrant organic Earl Grey tea. They also serve beer and wine. Service was prompt and attentive.
The cafe is home also to a flower show and is decorated with ceramics as well as paintings and watercolors that are quite charming. It's located on a rustic building downtown on the main street.
The food is delicious, extremely fresh and hit the spot. We definitely recommend it highly and would return.
So great! This was our second time and both times we had an awesome breakfast. Service was exceedingly friendly with plenty of coffee refills. And the kids claimed the pancakes were the best they ever had. We’ll be back.
Awesome. We were looking for some lunch bite in Julian area and this cafe came in top rated in search. Fresh food and awesome customer service, what else you need? Good soup and salad options. The potato salad is the best one I ever had...don't forget the hot tea...:) !!
