Hunter Steakhouse - Oceanside

I had Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken was over cooked, very chewy.
Three others had good experience, prime ribs, shrmp platters, seafood linguine.
Lamb shops appetizer and combination appetizers
One of our appetizers was calamari, it shouldn't be mix with saute red pepper and onion !

Prices are great, food is pretty good. Very geriatric crowd. Could use a serious update, but if you're looking for that 60s steak house vibe, this is your place.

A great local steakhouse, great cuts of meat and I've never had an issue with how the meat is cooked. Gives a intimate atmosphere so would be a great place to take a date. Parking is tight so if you go for dinner make sure to go just a little early to get a spot.

Food and service were both great. I love the early dining menu and the fact it's available on weekends too. The tableside salad bar was a lot of fun and tastes great. Our family all enjoyed it.

Meh... It's tasty, I suppose. I've been here a two times now. Both times were very consistent. Staff is friendly, but nothing comes out right. Drinks, appetizers, entrees... both times, everything came out wrong. The flavors are underwhelming in my opinion, but the portions are good sized. My biggest complaint is that I don't feel like I'm getting what I paid for. Over priced, kind of sums things up. The food isn't bad, it's just not amazing.
