You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but, I would start with the dumplings. The atmosphere it great and I never have a problem getting a set at the bar or the community table for two. “This is one of our favorite breakfast stops! The kids enjoy seeing beloved characters on the wall and the adults can enjoy them as well. The food is amazing and you get what you pay for... the portions are large, with that heartfelt, good, homey, comfort food feeling while you eat. The staff is friendly and helpful, but not in your face the whole time. There can be quite a wait sometimes, which should tell you that it's a great place to go.”

“Atmosphere was hip and food parking in the back. The food was eclectic a food would enjoy it. The burgers were delicious my partner and colleague demolished it. I loved the truffle fries. I order the New York steaks medium rare it was more rare than I like but I don’t mind someone who is a stickler would be upset considering it was a 42.00 plate. Also there was a little too much char than I would like. Over all the sauce was barely a little to salty maybe the heat was too high on the butter and the flavor cooked out. The cut of steak was good but I definitely would order the burger next time. If you are a traditional steak lover order the sauce on the side to see if it would be good on top. If you love sauce on it you may love it. Food took a bit long. Staff was friendly enough. Overall decent experience the atmosphere was interesting and hip. The chefs take a lot of care in their pairings.”

“What a cool place in the morning. We walked from the Wyndham down here and glad we did. Great bar tenders. The bloody Mary's looked awesome. I'm not a fan of them, but if I was I'd say they looked and probably tasted better than your average one. I got a bottle of bubbles for mimosas and had breakfast. It was delicious. Glad to have a local spot open early for breakfast indulging.”

“I wandered in one beautiful day shortly before closing to eye the bakery and assess whether my husband and I should stop in for breakfast. We will...definitely! The single serving cheesecakes were works of art and staff was most helpful. Leaving with an additional coconut macaroon (GF!) I enjoyed relaxing by the Oceanside library fountain just across Coast Hwy 1 from the entrance. Our cheesecake made a lovely dessert for two. Reasonably priced; really does taste ‘from scratch’.”

“I love coming to this beach! I will sometimes come to relax with a cup of coffee from down the street and a book on my hand. Other times this is the starting point to a good run to the pier. I have also gone kayaking, had bond fires, and of course some sun bathing and enjoyed the sea. By far this is one of my favorite beaches to go to when I need to get away and have some peace and quiet.”
