“I have been a big fan of Green Cheek for years, regularly stopping by their breweries on my way past Orange County. I was excited when I saw that they had taken over this spot from Bagby Beer. I did not order food during my first visit but the beers were everything I expected. From the reasonable prices to the great glass choices and the addition of nitro and side pour taps everything was excellent. They kept the outdoor bar open serving many of the beer choices, though not everything. While I really like the other locations, the open air atmosphere in this new Oceanside spot makes it the place to visit.”

They have 2 choice of salsas: • green - slight heat 🔥🔥 (2 out of 5) • red - chipotle & maple (slightly sweet & smoky) * if you ask, they even have a black truffle sauce 😉👍🏽 Their interior decor has character and I love that they even created anime cartoons to watch on the TVs. Although it is rather small inside, there’s some tables for group seating and it’s good for that “sit-down and eat quick” vibes. Their bathroom is also spotless 😊 Overall, I loved the concept of having a breakfast burrito spot that can dish out food quickly for those morning orders. In the afternoons to evenings, this establishment DOUBLES as a grilled cheese shop that also has soups and other goodies to warm you up! Brilliant concept!! Overall, I find AND BREAKFAST BURRITOS is nice addition to the South Oceanside breakfast scene.”

“This place just opened in the plaza next to seven eleven on mission. I believe it’s part of a chain of taco fast casual restaurants. There’s plenty of parking in there lot outside and there is also some outside seating set up under a tent. When you walk in there is cool music playing and neon lights by the restroom. You can see the cooks behind a glass wall putting together all the tacos and burritos from fresh ingredients. Their menu is fairly limited but it has all the standards. Also an extensive selection of juices and drinks. I got a Horchata that was really good and it was huge. They do not serve any alcohol . Just juices and bottles of soda. Tacos were all really good and we got them with everything on them. I will say we got the chicken and the carne Asada and both were pretty spicy. I like spicy so I enjoyed them but if you aren’t a spicy person maybe get the salsa on the side. Great addition to the neighborhood. Will be back for sure.”

“Accessibility: there are a few disabled parking spots across from the entrance of this building and there are two ramps to get onto the sidewalk. The doors to enter are pull doors. There are no places to sit outside but there are short tables with moveable chairs inside. Masks: required as of 2-6-2022. All the staff and customers were wearing masks. Experience: this place is a little hidden but it's great! I ordered a peach green tea with aloe and it was very good. It was a stronger flavor than I expected but still good! My friend also loved her drink with boba in it. The employees were all super nice and welcoming!”

“Love this place. Very clean and pretty. Food is very flavorful and the people who work there were all friendly and polite, even though we had no experience with Indian food and needed a lot of help. “This is my first visit at the Hot Dave’s Chicken. Restaurant. Ashley this really friendly cashier said their restaurant at this location has been in business for 2 months now. It’s very new and a Hot New Restaurant that serves spicy chicken Tenders as a combos meals and also serves spicy chicken slider sandwiches. My order was the one Mild Spicy Chicken Tender with one Mild Spicy Chicken Slider Sandwich on a toasted Brioche Bun with sliced Dill Pickles and Dave’s Mild House Sauce. The Chicken Tender has a breaded outer crust that’s deep fried in vegetable oil with a crispy and spicy texture to it. It comes with one slice of white bread to wrap around my Chicken Tender. I put honey on my sliced white bread and I ate it and it was very tasty this way. The Chicken Tender fills me up and I also ate the Crispy Chicken Slider with Dave’s Mild House Sauce on the Brioche Bun. Both of these Chicken Tender and the Chicken Slider had a really tasty spicy kick to them. Their food is very tasty and delicious! The dill pickles bright out the flavors on these spicy foods more. The customer service from Ashley who took down my order was amazing. Ashley was very happy with an upbeat attitude to me and everyone who placed their orders with Ashley . Ashley gave all of their customers her respect and her kindness. It feels so good for me to be treated with respect and kindness from Ashley. Ashley was wonderful to me their new customer. My food was prepared and cooked pretty quickly. My name and my order number 178 was called within 15 minutes time frame. I met my friend Eric on a Friday evening at 6 p.m. and this Hot Dave’s Chicken place was very crowded with a lot of their new and their regular customers were waiting in line to be served by Ashley. I saw about 4 younger men inside cooking their Spicy Chicken Sandwiches and their Chicken Tenders Pieces with their French Fries in their combination meals. Their Spices comes in 3 different flavors: Light Mild Spicy, Medium Spicy or Hot Spicy. I chose the (Light Mild Spicy for my one piece Chicken Tender and for my Chicken Slider Sandwich). Their Chicken was very juicy and delicious! Their prices are very affordable, I enjoyed eating inside their restaurant in the dining area talking to my friend Eric and I also enjoyed the excellent customer service I received from Ashley. Ashley is a very sweet person. This younger woman cashier. Ashley made me feel really welcome at their restaurant. Ashley told me Thank You 3 times. It’s great to know that Hot Dave’s Chicken Restaurant really appreciated my business. I will eat at this restaurant again. I understand the reason this Restaurant was very crowded with new customers waiting in line to be served by Ashley. It’s because this Hot Dave’s Chicken Restaurant trains their employees really well in giving their customers excellent customer service. I highly recommend Hot Dave’s Chicken Restaurant.”

“I had a fairly good lunch at Berta's and Osuna's Nicaraguan and Latin American food truck. I ordered the combination platter which included pork chunks, sweet fried plantains, fried cheese, and rice and beans. Good large portions most of which was excellent but the pork was a little too dry and hard. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I thought the food was pricey for a food truck but was good and plentiful. I don't know how you find their current location as they serve at different locations and their posted address is their business (not Food Truck) address.”

“Amazing pizza and atmosphere, can’t wait to go back! I did have an issue with the Vegan pizza (pictured) seeming incomplete with just tomato sauce and none of the veggies mentioned on the menu. The thin crust and other pizzas were good enough to give this place 5 stars though.”
