“Its a very quaint place but has a wonderful food. It is run by a husband and wife and overall they have quiet a few people come in for pick up, not many stay because there are only 7 tables. Price was good so I felt that I had, (for the money) a great experience. With that being said, this is for the locals, don't change anything. I know better food quality means a big price increase. “I grew up on the Wabash River... and Catfish was my favorite childhood food. Felix's is without a doubt the best Catfish in San Diego County. They buy excellent ingredients... and they know how to cook! My favorite sides are Collard Greens, Braised Cabbage, and Mac N Cheese. In the dozen or so times I've eaten here I can't get away from the Catfish... it's that good. But, guests dining with me have raved about the Pulled Pork, the ribs and the Red beans and rice. There are not many soul food restaurants in North County... but Felix's is the best...not because of the lack of competition... they just deliver excellent food and excellent service,”
