“Went there with my family for a joint birthday dinner with my Wife. The restaurant was quiet with only a few patrons there. Old timey music was playing softly over the sound system. Our service started out well. Bread, water and an order of the Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were awesome. Would have been great without the pomegranate seeds, but when one of those ended up in a bite as well, they were over the top amazing. I had the sirloin with scalloped potatoes and prawns. I ordered my steak medium rare because I like meat that isn't grey or akin to shoe leather. My steak was slightly over done, but not to the point where I felt obligated to send it back. Steak and sides were served on a cutting board, which was a nice touch. About midway through the meal, the head chef came out to check on us and apologize for a delay with the lobster tail for my father's order. Overall, the food was fantastic. Aside from the few small miscues mentioned, I can find no fault and it's just as likely that those small things were one-offs that aren't indicative of the staff's commitment to a quality dining experience.”

“Awesome food, we've been reluctant to go in there because its a liquor store but we were pleasantly surprised by the Pulled pork Sandwich, better than Mikes in Escondido, and Phil's in San Marcos, with half the wait time from both restaurants. We will be back to try more options on the menu. Fries were amazing, and my daughter loved the sliders. Some beers on draft! and reasonably priced too! You guys are awesome and keep up the excellent service!”

“I had beef fajitas with salad substituting the rice and beans, my wife had the 7 mares soup. The portions were both large enough for us to have the leftovers as lunch, and the food was delicious. I appreciated the fresh avocados, salsa, and generous portions of beef. The beef itself was tender, not over cooked, slightly oily, served on a hot iron skillet. I moved the beef off the skillet immediately to prevent overcooking. The 7 mares soup had shrimp, three mussels, two large crab legs, fish, octopus, tiny scallops, and squid. Tasty broth. To top it off we shared a yummy flan. 3-6 is happy hour, $3 a drink. Excellent deal.”

“Although this is a taco shop their cheeseburgers and shake are THE BEST!! The service here is always great and it typically doesn't have a long wait, unless you hit the rush. I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you want somewhere to sit and eat some inexpensive but quality food. If you're in a hurry there's no worry because they have a drive thru AND you can call in your food for pick up!”

“Used to love the breaded calamari dinner. Didn't see it on the menu anymore. Service was slow to get seated and there wasn't anyone else waiting to be seated. The pizza was ok. But it was like just crust and cheese. I still wanted to eat it though. If they would have added more sauce and a little more seasoning it would be a great pizza. My wife liked the lasagna. I wasn't to crazy for it. And the stuffed pasta dishes were pretty good. Sad to say without the calamari dinner probably won't go back to often. The atmosphere is relaxing. I would probably tell people to give it a try and see what you think.”

The dining area is clean and the drive through is normally pretty fast. The bathrooms could be kept cleaner but overall Mananas is a good choice if you are in Ramona or passing through.”

“This place rocks. I got the meatball sub which I thought was a risk, cause it’s not a place you’d probably get a meatball sub. But it was potentially the best meatball sub I’ve ever had, and I know my way around a meatball sub. Other people in the group got burgers, all of which looked mad (like thick patties, high quality vegetables, properly done). Service was great and I thought even the music playing was good. Highly recommend”

“I went in for some shakes and they informed they didnt have bananas. I was craving a banana and vanilla ice cream shake all day and was sad until they informed they will send someone to get bananas. Low and behold the guy runs across the street brings bananas and I have my shake under 10 mins. I am very pleased and thankful and i praise the service and wonderful attitude the workers here have!!!! Anyone else would have said oh well there no bananas sorry. But not today. “Only okay. It gets the job done if you crave Thai and don't want to go down the hill, but they wouldn't survive against real competition. My friend and I each ordered chicken dishes; she got 4 bites of chicken in hers, and i got 5 in mine. Easily 3x the onion. ???? They also tend to run out of things- this visit it was the coconut ice cream. The service wasn't at all bad, but it wasn't overwhelming. The guys are both much nicer than the lady. I'll be back because it wasn't bad and it's convenient- but I'd prefer Thai Time.”
