From the moment we entered the restaurant we were treated like family. The service was beyond compare and the dishes offered we're varied in nature and incredibly affordable.

Stopped into Miguel's after watching dolphins on Shelter Island. Excellent menu and fantastic employees. They started us off with free chips, queso, and salsa. Try the El Marco! 2 chicken enchiladas with a serving of rice and beans on the side. Our server Lauren was very attentive and we never had to ask for a refill. If you like dolphins and Tacos, Miguel's is a real catch!

Staff good. Food very much focused on the American side of Mexican food. Looking around on a Sunday afternoon we found a vast majority of an older white crowd. Nothing impressive, food wise. Everything we had was quite eatable and drinkable but there are better Mexican places not too far away.

Excellent staff. We had a very friendly waitress. Quick service and fast served food. Excellent Happy hour menu with great inexpensive food and drink choices. Had quite a few options off the menu and enjoyed everything we tried. If I was back in this area, I would definitely return and try it again.

Edit. Upgraded my original review from 4 to 5 stars. Stiff margaritas! Nice staff but a tiny inattentive with refilling waters or taking drink order then bringing drinks quickly, but Friday night is busy. Excellent delicious food, huge portions for great prices eg about $11 for two fried fish tacos (wish it were grilled) beans and rice. Relaxing interior, cozy but still comfortable. Been twice and it's not a favorite hidden gem on par with Old Town.
