Chilaqueles is amazing. Basically every dish is delicious. Big portion for dishes, but they will split into two plates for you. It's awesome if you want to taste more dishes. Price is really cheap considering the plate size and food quality.

Wish I can give a six-star.

Went in for a small gathering not long ago. Loved the food, the atmosphere, the very attentive service, but despised the fact we weren't allowed to order our own items. We were forced to consume in a "family style" manner, where rather than each of us having our own meal we're meant to share with the table. When asking about the separate menu for such a thing... They don't have one. They expected us to all pass around individual sized plates, to a party of 12, to share. Needless to say, it got expensive. We paid significantly more for less food. If I ever go back, I'll make sure it isn't with a group so that ridiculous impositions on how we eat our food aren't forced on me.

The food is always nice, with good variety and ingredients. The service is fast and friendly. They have nice clean restrooms.

The fruit bowl was extremely disappointing but the rest of the breakfast was very good. Service was great. Be aware they add on 4% to supplement wages of staff. For a restaurant that charges these kind of prices, it's a shame they can't pay their staff a living wage.

I had an amazing breakfast/brunch here with a friend while visiting La Jolla. Got the hot chicken, which was just spicy, savory deliciousness. The pancakes were tasty (I had a couple of bites). Also, a fantastic Bloody Mary. Service was on point, location is great. 100% recommend and would love to visit again!!
