Good spot for Bar food. Great place to meet and catch up with friends. Certainly worth going back to. Bring your hunger - portions are generous.

I've read several places that this place has one of the best if not the best burgers in San Diego. I had to try it for myself. Can't say I was disappointed. First of all the bar itself is pretty small with just a few tables so I can see how it would be challenging to eat here at a popular time. Rather dark inside but who cares. Let's talk about the burgers. I went during happy hour so balboa burgers were only $5. Burger was tasty, jucy and high quality. My only complaint is i wish it was bigger. Not that they were small i just wish I could keep on eating. ????

This place is awesome! Small, dark little bar/grill, nice jukebox on the wall. The people that work here are really nice and the burgers are as good as they come in San Diego, I'm not kidding! The garlic fries are great too but don't plan on kissing any vampires after eating them, they don't play around with the garlic.

Cozy, off the beaten path, hole in the wall bar. Best burger I've had in a decade hands down. Very limited seating. Only negative is there didn't seem to be an unlimited refill option for sodas.

AMAZING! By far one of the best burgers I've had! First time here. Chill dark hole in the wall pub. I ordered the regular fries and a pastrami burger. The fries are seasoned perfectly. The burger was mouth watering. The buns are as soft as cotton candy!
