Himitsu

If you're looking for a great sushi place, this is the spot. Don't let the exterior fool you, it's a hidden gem and the best place in San Diego hands down (even better than Sushi Ota in my opinion). Mitsu the main chef and owner is a great story teller and pleasure to sit across from. I'm hesitant to leave a review because getting a reservation at the sushi bar is hard enough as it is. Authentic, not swanky, it's the real deal.

Freshest and best sushi in town. My mom is from Japan and very picky and loves this restaurant. It’s our favorite and we eat there every chance we get. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The owner is always there and is very friendly and his creations never disappoint.
