On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

We always get great service at a table by the bar on Sunday afternoons. Our waitress, Tia (sp?), always remembers my preferences & food sensitivities, including salt free chips, tepid water& the beer I like. She's terrific about checking in with us a several times, including after receiving our food to ensure everything is correct. She's also fun & has a great attitude! OTB serves Tex Mex style food. Personally, Tex Mex is not my fave, but my Man really loves it. The food is good for the price. I do really enjoy their guacamole though! ????

First visit to this restaurant. No crowds on a Sunday afternoon. The seating was excellent. You were not right next to another table. You could get a table next to a window or a nice large booth inside the restaurant. The service was absolutely awesome. The manager gave us the happy hour drink price even though we we sitting in another section of the restaurant. The food was delicious and was prepared fast. I was very impressed with everything from the hostess, to the server, the food and the price. I will be entertaining friends and family at this restaurant. This restaurant delivered a 10 today.

Mexican food at this spot - delicious. Great ambiance & decor. Fast and courteous service. The bill was average for the menu. Food and atmosphere reminds me of Atlanta.

It's been many years since I've visited On the Border. After that one and only visit I swore never to return. BUT recently I did to appease a friend visiting from out of town who is a big fan of the place much to my confusion.
WOW...I was pleasantly surprised that my first visit oh so long ago was just a fluke because this recent visit was on point in every way! The service, the food, the drinks were amazing and now I have another place to go that within steps of my home!
Moral of this story...everyone deserves a second chance!

Great service but I cant remember the lady's name! Great happy hour menu and at first we sat in the bar for the food and she was not bothered by that. It was nice having fresh chips. All food was hot and drinks were tasty. The only comment is one of the staff members who was there wouldn't help us get a new fork after I dropped mine, he said I'll get your waiter this is her table. It's a fork, just a fork. But she brought my fork :)
