We've been driving by this place for months now and every time we say "we really need to try that place"! Well this weekend we finally did. If you don't want to read the entire review then just suffice to say this will be our "go to" spot from now on.

I'll start with service. I was a little hesitant as they didn't have a typical online ordering platform where you can easily see all of their food options. I looked at pictures of their menus and food to help me make my decision. I called and a nice man answered the phone. He was very friendly and attentive, answering all my questions. I ordered a large cheese and pineapple with extra sauce and a large vegetarian with no modifications, I additionally ordered 2 orders of garlic bread.

When we arrived the staff was very friendly and let us know they also have free delivery available within a short distance to the restaurant. We thank you for letting us know, we will be taking you up on that!! Checkout was quick and pizza was ready when we got there.

Let's start with the garlic bread. An order of garlic bread ($2) is a full loaf of bread with garlic butter and seasonings cut in half and then into 4 large pieces. You essentially get 4 huge pieces of garlic bread for 2 bucks. That's a hell of a value and it tasted awesome! We definitely did NOT need 2 but I'm not sorry we ordered it!

If you are looking for an honest to goodness real pizza with real toppings that are very fresh, no gimmicks, this is the pizza for you! In case you are wondering this IS a compliment. It is hard to find a solid friendly neighborhood pizza place with real pizza these days with all the chain restaurants that have cheese stuffed this and butter flavored that. Jason's pizza is the real deal. Great pizza, reasonable prices and great service! Not a lot of fluff, just great food. Both pizzas were exactly as ordered, not overcooked, not too thick and not too thin with fresh delicious toppings. I'd not change a thing.

I will note, if you like the buttered, stuffed, powder-coated pizza dough one of the national chains makes, you'll find this crust a bit bland. In my mind the crust is the foundation. Texture is far more important than the flavor, your opinion may differ and that's ok.

So to end as I began, we've found our go to pizza place in Mira Mesa. I hope Jason's Pizza is here a good long time.

Wanted to give a local business a chance and try a different pizza — and we loved it! We bought a large pepperoni and a medium bacon & ham with oil instead of red sauce. The whole family enjoyed both pizzas. I definitely recommend giving them a try. And the prices are good too.

New pizza place in Mira Mesa. Our first experience was positive. Pizza was doughy and had tons of cheese, good flavor and value.

Tucked in the corner of a plaza: a small, quaint place with no fancy decoration or frills. What they do have though is amazing pizza. My friends and I ordered the 18 inch BBQ Chicken pizza. The crust was nice and crispy (yes, even the bottom!) and the BBQ sauce was not overpowering at all. The chicken very tender and the onions still retaining a little bite. One of the best BBQ chicken pizzas I've had!

The customer service was nothing short of spectacular. Kind, friendly owner who shows his care for his business. The wait was very reasonable. We ordered and ate on the spot and were out in less than an hour. You can see the pizzas being made to order with hand stretched dough.

I hope this place stays because it's honestly a gem in a very saturated food market. A must try!

This place just opened and is fantastic. The interior is modern and clean and there is great customer service. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and it was extremely fresh and tasty. We also got a side of garlic bread, and at a $2 price we were not expecting an entire french baguette cut into 4 giant slices! We were also given a free 2 liter bottle of coke. Overall we will definitely be back for the competitive prices and great quality of food.
