Tried Samburgers along with Not Not Tacos. They’re smash burgers so I recommend a double. Cheesy, greasy, the bun is great and the sauce is excellent. The meat blend of sirloin, brisket and short rib is full of flavor. Excellent staff and located inside the cool Little Italy food hall which offers other quality options, a bar and also outdoor seating.

Came in from Out-of-State while on vacation. My wife was dying to eat here, as we religiously watch Sam the Cooking Guy on YouTube.

On to the food: The burgers were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Just the right size, perfect bun-to-meat ratio, no blowouts, and the fries were perfectly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside.

Price: Not bad for a family of 4, we were out just over $60 for 4 burgers, fries and drinks.

Bonus: Sam the Cooking Guy was at the restaurant so my wife got to say hi and talk about how good the food was. Awesome experience! Next time we are in San Diego, we are coming back for more!

Not gonna lie, I was skeptical reading other reviews on how good the burgers were and how it was cooked to perfection. I sat down and prepared to bite this burger like any other hamburger place. But my teeth just sunk through the entire burger like a knife through warm butter.
I was expecting to feel the dried out bun, followed by the semi burned patty and bacon, but no. Sam surprised me with my first bite. It was heavenly. The temperature was just right. I usually have to take a bite then breathe in and out with the bite resting on my teeth or blow on the meat before each bite to cool it down. The bun was soft and sweet more like a Hawaiian sweet roll than an actual hamburger bun. The bacon was just right (cooked but not charred) and the beef was super moist. Every bite was a symphony of delicious, savory, goodness.
I ordered a single burger with nothing else and I'm wanting more. I only wish $10 gave me more. I try not to spend more than that at any given meal. Though the true value of this burger came from the joy of eating it and it's superior quality, if I'm hungry, I'll eat somewhere else to get more substance for the price.

Hands down the best burger I have ever had. Visiting from Rhode Island and I had to check out Sam’s Burgers. The staff is friendly and the food came out fast. I ordered Sam’s Fav, Double Bacon Cheddar, with two patties and it was perfection. The meat was cooked just right and the bacon-onion jam added great flavor. I also ordered a side of fries with ranch dressing. The fries were crispy and the herbs in the ranch dressing made it taste light and fresh. The box the food comes in is a great touch. Sam really knows what he is doing!
