I love this place! Best seafood buffet in San Diego. I love the mussels, the mackerel, and the green tea ice cream .. nom nom nom! Never been there for dinner because it is too expensive, but lunch is fairly priced on the weekdays.
The severs service is 50/50 .. sometimes they are attentive but others times not. Just make sure you ask for two drinks! The bussers are always on top of their game. Hopefully they get part of the tips I leave.
The people that imply the food is unhealthy or old are exaggerating. It is exactly what you would think an inexpensive all you can eat sushi place is. There are a few choices for sushi, several hot items and interesting desserts. The sushi the day we went was pretty poor but we are a little bit of sushi snobs. Lunch is probably worth the price at about 13 dollars but dinner at almost 25 is way over priced.
The food was great! There were plenty of food to choose from and fill your stomach with. Quality of the food is just as good if not, better, than any other Japanese place I've been to. It's a bit expensive compared to Chinese buffets, but if you have a large appetite it's definitely worth every penny. They have lots of sushi, quite some sashimi and even udon! Desert was amazing but I was too stuffed with other stuff by then to fully appreciate it.
The service was alright, the day I came in was pretty busy so the waiters/waitresses had many places to be at once so service to my table wasn't the best but still acceptable.
