“These are freaking fantastic! Glad they are in this neighborhood now. Very cool owners as well. Love these donuts!”

“I love this place! Cookies are great and way more fun flavors than their competitors. The reviews saying they are too crunchy, you have to heat these up. And they are so good! Staff and owners are super friendly. Will be returning.”

“parked on the st a block away. 15min spot right in front. some st parking. dining is outdoor with fans and shade. order inside and wait for food outside. I got a Chicken shawarma wrap ($10) that tasted like boiled drychicken with tomatoes lettuce and pickles. I asked the lady if this was my correct order. She took it back and brought another one. it was much better, chicken wasn't tough and it was mixed with tahini and more flavorful and saucy. The wrap bread is fresh and tasty. I could come back for the 2nd tahini filled wrap. or just order something else The falafel plate comes with bread, salad, and hummus in a to-go box. it was all pretty good and came out to $15. I appreciate the friendly service and that they cared enough to fix my first wrap. Cold water provided outside is self service . utensils and salt also outside self service. but gotta ask for hot sauce. seating is nice outside and is open to public too. One small bathroom in the back.”

“SUCH a great little spot. The savory pies are great. I have yet to try the sweet ones. I usually get the Green Hog, a Chile Verde pork pie. The classic chicken pie is delicious, the herb sauce they use is so good, and the pastry is flaky and delicious. They have a yellow curry veggie pie, also great flavors and hearty. The mashed potatoes are really yummy, i think they put sour cream in them but please don't hold me to that. From their sweet selection, I did try a couple of cookies, oatmeal raisin, and chocolate chip. They are nice, large cookies. The apple pies-cream is genius! It's a slice of their apple pie in a cup with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel. They have a good selection of coffee drinks that look and sound amazing as well. Definitely recommend!”

“I recently opened a clinic nearby and my staff can’t get enough of this place. Our patients get lunch with their procedures and they always choose this place. I honestly can’t tell you what they put in these sandwiches (besides the best ingredients and love) that make their products taste so damn good. Not only does their food keep you coming back but the staff is so inviting, incredibly helpful, nice and they keep the place immaculate. I rarely go on google to write reviews but this location deserves the praise. If you haven’t stopped by you are missing out.”

“So good! Fresh and delish! A little pricey but worth it! Friendly staff! We ordered cappuccino, a latte, 2 classic waffle a açaí and a San Diego sandwich without chorizo!”

“Blackmarket Bakery is a hidden gem in North Park. Not only do they have great breakfast items, they bake all of their items in house and have a wide selection of knick knacks (cards, candles, chocolates, etc). This is a great place to pick up small gifts. I have come here a few times and the short bread cookies are a hit, specifically the earl grey short bread and the mocha walnut shorties. The earl grey cookies go great with tea and the mocha walnut shorties taste like the edges of brownies (IE the best part). As far as breakfast goes, I like getting the Fresh Prince breakfast sandwich with bacon as well as the Soyrizo sandwich. Can't go wrong with either, but the Fresh prince is more balanced since there are some veggies in there. There is covered outdoor seating that is dog friendly. I will be back soon!”

As a small business owner, I appreciate good customer service (and Also quality product -always the freshest pretzels here) and so I felt the need to write a review and give the UTC location the credit they deserve! Great job and thank you Sheree!”

“This place is opened for a month now and I came to know of this place due to a coupon I got in mail. I took my coupon and went to try it. Ordered Western bagel, amazed to see like 10 variety of bagels to choose from, there are mini ovens to bake the bagel, bagel turned out really good and warm. Then went to bill with the coupon and the staff behaviour suddenly changed as if They are giving it for free, came second time and same behaviour from staff. Staff can really need to improve on there attitude. The place is good, but staff behaviour is a minus for me. Bagel size is small, three variety of coffees to choose from. Taking out 2 star for staff.”

“This was a very fun stop. The atmosphere is great and fun to hang out for a while. The choices of donuts were great and we had a difficult time choosing. The prices were very reasonable as well. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. Pick a few to share, they are very large!”

“Full review: These are probably the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Their website says that they are made fresh that day, I can tell. My photos may not be the best, but they are so fluffy and have a great taste. I’m looking forward to trying other menu items. Today I just had a pancake craving and I got lucky with these 👌🏽 They are also super quick, made in under 10 min. Can I have the recipe? 😄 **update** One big reason why I don’t dine here anymore is because every time I walk in that place, my energy goes down. It’s depressing. They have the tv constantly going like you’re in a depressing retirement home. This isn’t inviting and going to drive away customers. There are plenty of places that focus on making it enjoyable for the customer. How hard is it to maybe mute the tv and play music?”

“This place has the best bagels—and bagel sandwiches—in town. They do Montreal style, so they get the wood fired treatment. They’re perfect! Donuts are great as well, and the seasonal selections are thoughtful and innovative. The chewiness of the donuts is not my favorite in the city, but the flavor is on point. GO HERE FOR BAGELS, even if you’re not into donuts!”

“Had the need for a 3a.m. donut run 🍩 and the fact that Sunny Donuts is open 24hrs; and was there for my donut 🍩 need with some fresh tasting donuts is pretty awesomeness and deserving of a Perfect 5 ☆ RATING in my book!”

“Without a doubt, arguably the best cafe I’ve been to after cities all around the globe. Such a cute “more than” coffee shop. Living outside of philadelphia we don’t have too many down to earth coffee shop business owners like Abby. She’s personal, professional and just has a way of connecting and communicating with her customers. Then there’s the incredible atmosphere, the delicious coffee and drinks (espresso and Matcha for me) and the small eats to absolutely did for (overnight oats) If you’re looking for a quiet place to get some work done, fuel up in high quality healthy food that tastes good and have a bold tasting caffeinated drink AND a refreshing chaser, Rosemont is 100% the best place to go in La Jolla. 5 min walk to the beach and away from all the hoopla downtown”

“The food items here are okay, not bad. The donuts aren’t that good sadly 😢 The savory items were better. The non-coffee drinks were honestly really bad though which was super disappointing. Maybe I’d try their coffee but I feel like if the other drinks are pretty bad im not sure how much better it can get. We ordered delivery but it seems like from other reviews the staff sound amazing, so my review is only regarding the products!”

“been visiting San Diego from Chicago for a week with my boyfriend, and we needed a good coffee to start our day and keep us moving with the time change. Stopped by this cute little cafe right near Petco Park, and the barista (I don’t know her name but she was the absolute sweetest) made my boyfriend and I the best coffee we have had all trip. I have a caffeine intolerance, and being able to have decaf espresso is the only thing I can tolerate. She made two of the best Vietnamese Iced Espressos I’ve ever had. Definitely a favorite and will be back next time we visit ❤️”

“This is a great place for pies (duh!)... Both savory and sweet. They have some unique flavor combinations and think outside the box on both kinds. I opted for a cookie with an ice cold glass of oat milk (off menu but worth an ask!). Super friendly staff who were very helpful and answered all our questions!”

“This is the best restaurant I've been to in SD. Me and my friend ordered 2 pastas, popcorn chicken, chicken wings, soda drunk, shuffle. All of them are perfect 10/10. All the food ordered had 'layers of flavors' and they match so well! Pasta originates from Italy but the sauce is from Thailand, plus the herbs and cheese and fresh tomatoes and they all match so well. Would love to come again!!”

“Best French restaurant and desserts in San Diego, hands down! Love the almond croissant and Le Signature chocolate dessert. We bring all of our friends here because the food is so good, so beautiful and the staff are great. It's so nice to see that they have so many actual French speakers working there! Also love that this is a black-owned and woman-owned business. This location in Sky Deck is really convenient and the perfect place for an after-date-night dessert and coffee. Highly recommend!”

“limited menu but really great taste and quality, the bread that they get from a local bakery is delicious Unfortunately, a bit too high of a price tag for the portion size for me for daily lunch, I'd need 2 Sandwiches to get filled, which puts 30$ on the bill, so I only go there when I'm not super hungry”

“I want to give high praise to Jess and the rest of the team. I recently went into to seek a refund for an extra credit to my bank account. Due to the date of the transaction, the baristas in the shop were not able to immediately credit me but took down my contact information for a manager to follow up with me. To my surprise, I received a voicemail later that same day informing me that not only the extra charge was refunded, but so was my initial payment due to the inconvenience. I was also offered a free drink or breakfast sandwich next time I go in. Moe’s exceeded my expectations with their superb customer service and professionalism. I am greatly appreciative of their generosity and efforts to rectify the situation.”
