It's okay to be a bit skeptical about a delicious BBQ inside a random Chevron gas station in Vista; I definitely was. I try to treat myself at least once a month with the 2 meat plate and some homemade peach cobbler. Brisket and tri-tip with baked beans & mac and cheese-Get in my Belly! I like that I am supporting local people and you can tell these folks care about what they do.”

“By far the best pizzeria in North County if not all of San Diego. Jersey born, Jersey bred but I've lived in Southern California for almost ten years. I didn't find this amazing establishment until 2 years ago and my life has been happier since. I'm a plain cheese type of person, to me there's nothing better, and their slice is taste of home. My wife is a huge fan of their BBQ chicken pizza and it's so good that she's even broken me out of my plain cheese habit. We enjoy the pizza so much that we try to go a couple times a month if not once a week. On top of them serving delicious pizza, the staff is friendly and polite. They have easily won my business over the many other places I've tried. Thank you for the great experiences.”

“I've been to this restaurant several times now, and has not disappointed once. And not in your typical location, where it might be at a corner or visible from the street, but almost hidden. Every time i visited this store I've ordered the fish or shredded beef burritos, or rolled tacos, all were tasty, especially, the fish burritos, which I like it to be grilled instead of fried. It was also surprising that the burritos are larger than some of the burritos I've ordered at other taco shops! Although, its farther than usual, its worth the visit! Definitely recommend!”

My coworkers love this place and this is the cheapest buffet you'll find in N.County. They have seafood, vegetarian and all types of meat dishes. Not many choices but you'll definitely find something that suit your needs. They clean up your dishes as you are done but sometimes you gotta remind them about refilling drinks.”

“Strange location inside the boomers arcade but my double bacon burger was excellent! I love the peppery patties and Johnny Rockets has my favorite, buttery hamburger bun of any fast food restaurant. However, the fries are tasteless and the milkshake machine was broken at this location when we went. Also the register was having some sort of issue so despite the friendly staff, the order took forever to make. This is the closest location for us so we might have to come back but we'll probably look for other locations first with more traffic/business in hopes the machines will all be working.”
