This is their 4th location. Original spot is in North Beach, 2nd IHC they opened was in Marina, and their 3rd location opened in Berkeley. Their Hayes Valley location is a 2 minute walk from MUNI Van Ness station or 10 minute walk from civic center BART. They have the best in pasta, piadina, cassoni, gelato, prosecco, bomboloni, caffe, and service!

Ordered delivery via DoorDash on a Thursday night. Quick - delivered within 30 minutes. Very large portions of comfort style homemade pasta and flavorful sauces. The lasagna was bold and rich with a lot of noodle layers. Fettuccine with pesto we couldn’t put down. I asked for some extra pesto on the side and they sent a good 1/2 C container at no extra cost which was generous. Do note the 14$ish price tag is for the pasta alone when ordering; does not come with any sides. It was enough food to feed 3-4... the 2 of us ended up eating it all it was so delicious! Tiramisu was above average but not my favorite in the city. Would order the pasta dishes again.

Love love LOVE Italian Homemade! It's definitely one of my go-to spots for good, authentic Italian food in SF, and I'm so happy they opened a Hayes Valley / Market St location since it's much easier to get to than the other spots (MUNI). The food is consistent with the other locations, meaning delicious; it's served on "real" plates instead of paper plates like North Beach. They also serve breakfast, which I haven't tried yet but apparently is really good. Already can't wait to come back for more! :D

It was delicious! Purposely ate half of my pasta for dessert. A bit pricey on the gelato.

As good as the original restaurant in North Beach. All their pastas are made fresh, sometimes right in front of your eyes. Their daily specials are have never disappointed me.
