Not enough udon !!!! Expensive and skimp. If they filled the bowl with noodles fine. But they are cheapskates with the udon itself NO GO
You get your noodles super fast because it’s a cafeteria style restaurant where you pick up your noodle order, move through the tempura bar for a topping, then drinks and cashier. Tried the curry beef noodles, the miso chicken and the spicy beef tan tan noodles (the latter 2 are seasonal). My favorite was the curry beef and the tan tan. The pickles in the curry beef were so tasty and added extra dimension to the dish. They have various Japanese and Hawaiian soft drinks.
Quick counter service, 2 vegitarian soup options (1 vegan) and the rest beef. I liked the tempura bar at the end so theoretically you could make many combinations of end soups, vegetarian and non. Ice water for free and varsity of delicious drink options as well. The only thing is there was not chicken soup options only beef. But this could be the way udon traditionally is, not sure honestly. They did have fried chicken skewers but they looked a little dry (didn't actually taste so not factored into my review).
Had an amazing vegan Curry, and made it so spicy my tongue bled, but it was so delicious it didn't matter
Nice clean place with fast service. Few vegetarian options are available for udon and tempura combined. The mushroom gravy udon was very tasty, highly recommended if you are looking for a vegetarian option. The prices are on a higher side for a lunch but the quantity is substantial.
