    Hungry and desperate after a visit to SFO, we went to Clay Oven Indian out of convenience. You can order off the menu or go to the buffet. I don't usually like buffets, but, we were not only hungry but short on time. What a pleasant surprise! Everything was great. Lots to choose from. I particularly liked the curried goat. The dahl was great. The chai was exceptional. The service was professional and pleasant. The meal was about $30 for two. Okay I didn't care for the shredded carrot dessert. The other dessert choice was rice pudding with cardamon, which was wonderful. We'll be back.

    The saag alone is worth coming back. The chai was rich and delightful: strong on the cardamom. They have a lunch buffet. The staff is friendly and attentive.

    normally i would have posted a pic but food looked so good i couldn't stop. really nothing but good experiences here. this place has a great design. i see why this place has a lot of positive reviews.

    Outstanding service, authentic food, great flavors, and they accommodate dietary substitutions. Excellent all around!

    Clay Oven has the flavor of home cooked meals. It was a comfortable warm hug during the cold winds in San Francisco. Good ambience.
