    This a cute restaurant right by the water. I had a window seat and it was a great view of the dock and fishing boats. That's what you want to see when eating in a seafood restaurant! This place was crazy busy but I got seated and served quickly. The food was out fast which was surprising with the number of people in there. I ordered fish & chips. It was tasty and reasonably priced. I was happy with the overall experience.

    The best clam chowder I've had in years. Served in a sour dough bread bowl. I recommend Cafe 8 to tourists and everyone else. A+

    Very attentive staff and the food was great! Ordered crab mac and cheese with a side of clam chowder. They provide free bread with dipping oil and the oil is so delicious. The decor is also very nice, with old black and white pictures showing the history of the restaurant and the pier. The staff was so attentive, and our waiter always made sure we had bread and drinks.
