Bistro Boudin is more than just an eating establishment but a factory where their bread is crafted and baked. Established in 1849 during the Gold Rush the starter that began it all is still used and used well as the intoxicating aromas of their delicious loaves fill your senses and lures you in to the wonderful world of freshly baked breads hot out of the oven. Enjoy one of their Rich clam chowder served inside a bread bowl or a turkey with havarti and avocado sandwich on a freshly baked french roll. You are in heaven.

Really nice place at the piers. Downstairs is a little gift shop and a cafe. Upstairs two bars and the restaurant. Prices are little expensive but the food is really great. 1 star deduction for the guys in the service... Seems that they're unable to cope with many guests. Though a recommendation.

Had the famous clam chowder in a sourdough bread. Separately they both have their goodness. The chowder is absolutely delicious and the bread itself is made in house so it's fresh. Together though I felt like a side of extra chowder is needed or else it's just not enough. Overall it was a good meal.

The Linguine Pasta Primavera was recommended to me today by a lovely waiter, and as a pasta lover, I took her up on her suggestion. Let me tell you, that was a fantastic decision. The pasta itself was soft, the vegetables were tender and the sauce was so well seasoned. The dish was flavourful, hearty and left me feeling so very happy. I cannot recommend this pasta highly enough, it was amazing and I would eat it time and time again.

Definitely one of the best seafood restaurant in the fisherman’s wharf. Be prepared to wait for a long time as this place is really popular, especially with tourist.

The clam chowder was really good. Pasta was excellent. The dungeness crab was out of the world.
