Alexander's Steakhouse

Food is always great there. I am giving it a 3 star this time for the simple fact that their was a hair in our dessert. Most likely it was an isolated incident but it still happened. We quietly let the server know. He looked so embarrassed even though it was not his fault. He quickly took it back and brought us a new one on the house which was nice. Overall I would still recommend eating there. I guess it's nice to see accidents happen even at nicer resturaunts.

Don't worry if it's busy, it is worth the wait. There was fast and courteous service. The bill was fair for the quality of food. If it wasn't far from my work I would come by more.

Had the 20oz ribeye, best steak I have ever had. Wine choices were excellent and sides were very good as well. Awesome place!

Alexander’s is a great option for a nice corporate celebration. I’ve been here twice and it’s always a great time. The steak is superb and all the beverage options are plenty. If you’re down for some fun I recommend the Himachi shots as a round of appetizers ;)

This is truly one of my favorites places to go to in all of SF. This is a must stop when in SF. Everything they do is spot on. My friends and I come here for every special occasion. I have been coming here for 3 years and always had Robert as our server but this time he was not available and they put us in Molly section and she was truly just as good as Robert. She was on very much on point with things. Everything was well timed. We ended up being there for 3 hours. She set up with a fantastic wine tasting and a whiskey tasting for my friends that was always perfectly timed right before each course we ordered. I had the fillet mignon that was perfect medium rare and bone marrow was excellent on top. Every fine dinning experience I go to I always compare it to Alexanders from the service to the food it is absolutely spot on. Can't wait to return.
