I can't tell if I was just hungry, or this food was amazing, because it tasted amazing. I ordered through DoorDash late one night, and delivery was quick and neatly packed.

The Coconut rice was spectacular. I've ordered coconut rice from other places before, but can't recall anything about it aside from being nonplussed. Not the case here. If anything, there was too little, next time I'm getting triple the amount.

Next up, I love shrimp, eggplants and especially garlic, so I got the Shrimp and Eggplant with Garlic Sauce, and hoped for the best. (It's amazing how many places manage to botch these 3 yummy ingredients.) Not the case here. I was not disappointed. The Shrimp and eggplant were fresh and it had just the right amount of sauce.

The food was a little pricey, but, it's SF and more importantly, you get what you pay for, and this place was well worth it. I can't wait to explore the rest of their menu.

It's weird, when I was figuring out where to order from, I came across a one line review, which helped me decide. I looked but couldn't find it, so I'll just write what I remember it said here:

"STOP LOOKING and order from here! You won't be disappointed."

Amazing restaurant for Burmese food. Make sure to try the tea leaf salad and the shrimp noodles. Would also recommend going with a bigger group so you can try out different dishes! Only negative thing is that they don't take reservations, so be ready to wait for a little bit. You can go to a bar nearby for a drink in the meantime though.

My son and I stopped by this restaurant after a skateboard session at the under the bridge skate park. We were seated around 5:30 pm and after that people kept coming and I knew why after tasting the food. We ordered Garlic Noodles with shrimp (my son added tofu, too) and he loved it. I had Fried Rice and it was very good also. We’ll definitely be back to try other dishes and next time, I will probably try some drinks from the bar.

Sister restaurant to the famous Burma Superstar but without all the waiting. Food is super good. Come with a group and try it all!

A fantastic place to eat. The meal sizes are quit filling, and pleasantly delicious. I had the mango dish and tea. They were AMAZING and I highly recommend them.
Be prepared for some neighbourly love as seating is a tight fit. This place is a must have when stopping in SF, especially when wanting something different from traditional American food.
