This is my favorite Mexican food spot in SF! I am pescatarian so I usually get fish taco or veggie burrito. The portions are great and the prices are reasonable!
Very juicy and tasty. My favorite thing in burrito is that they don’t put rice and it’s just delicious. My friends who eat meat adore their Birria tacos. Can’t wait for my next stop or online order 🔥

Really really good beef tacos! A specialty beef (Birria) Mexican food truck. So per typical food truck the menu changes pretty frequently, so I got the combo for about $18. It comes with 1 soft taco, 1 crispy taco, a mulita (quesadilla) and a cup of consume. Now add a drink, tax and tip it’s an easy $25 lunch. Now that being said the soft tacos are delicious and totally worth it. The crispy taco and mulita added cheese which I feel took away from the beef, that’s just me tho. The consume is real good as to be expected. A cup of that in the morning after a long night will do wonders. I know it’s San Francisco but $25 lunch at a food truck is a bit steep. Worth it, yes.

Highly recommend! I've had tons of tacos, from all over, including Mexico, many claiming to be "the best tacos". These guys ARE literally the best, at least that I've ever had.

We came here because my husband is on the keto diet and they have keto tacos made with homemade cheese shells (rather than those "keto" tortilla shells). The red onion at an 1/8 cup is 2 carbs, but that's being generous because I doubt it's that many onions in one taco. After some research I'm happy to report that beef birria typically isn't above 1.5 carbs... So in total one of these keto tacos might hit 5 carbs, but it's likely to be less. 2 tacos plus the consome (which you HAVE to get) is at max maybe 11-12 carbs (well worth the carbs spent and with the cheese and beef broth you're getting a nice chunk of your fat with this). My husband has never even been a big taco fan, but I think El Fuego converted him.

I got 2 Quesabirria and due to a cheese allergy had to opt out of the cheese. Oaxaca and mozzarella are the only 2 I can eat. I was worried this would ruin my tacos (everywhere else I've had tacos without cheese has been a failure). I'm happy to report that these tacos were perfect even without cheese. Proof that they really do perfectly marinate this beef and grill the tortillas to perfection giving them the perfect taste as is without needing to add anything to mask something. I'm not usually a big onion fan, particularly red onions, but these were added just right to add to the flavor rather than take away from it.

We came out to the city from 50 min away just to try these and they were well worth it. My long search for the perfect craveable taco has officially been filled. We will be back, hungry for more!
