(April 20, 2021, 2:42 pm)Sodini's is an SF institution that has decent, simple, crowd-pleasing staples, but nothing mind-blowing. Prices are pretty inflated. The historical value of the place is special, but the food and service are not great. I appreciated the heat lamps and outdoor parklettes. They don't serve dessert (kind of goes along with the whole old-school, no-nonsense vibe), but there are tons of places in the neighborhood to go to for something sweet. Good pesto sauce! The sourdough is a real treat to sop up marinara.

(March 21, 2021, 5:53 am)Owner of Sodini's, Mark, goes above and beyond to greet all his diners and ensure that people are getting the best experience possible. We drove 1.5 hours to visit Mark's place, never are we ever disappointed. Bar none, the best pizza(Alla Sodini's) with great Italian Sangiovese. We love it and highly recommend it.
