This restaurant is great. This is by far our current favorite for takeout. They have a great selection of dumplings. Our number 1 criteria for Chinese restaurants is that the dishes not be greasy or overly sauced and YH Beijing delivers on this big time. I ordered the General Tsao's Chicken and you just tell they take pride in their food and preparation. We've lived in the Duboce Triangle for years and have seen Chinese restaurants come and go. So glad to have found YH Beijing and hope they stay.
Delicious orange chicken! Great chow mien. They also have great dumplings - highly recommend the chili oil dumplings. I also had a side of the chili oil to put on my chow mien which made it spicy and delicious! The restaurant is clean and looks like it was recently remodeled. All seats were filled. Highly recommend for a good dinner with good portions for a good price. Also great take out!
Chinese is never my first choice but YH-Beijing has changed my mind on this. We’ve eaten here twice and are very happy to have them in the neighborhood. Creative executions, top shelf ingredients, and a humble politeness of service make you feel appreciated.
I swung on for a bowl of wonton soup yesterday. I have eaten here many times and am always impressed by the soup. It is hearty and consistently delicious. Plus it costs around $6, a good value IMO.
Our favorite Chinese restaurant for sit down our take out. Food is made with fresh ingredients, which you can certainly taste. Everything tastes clean, without the greasy cloy or MSG laden dishes from typical places. I would highly recommend cumin lamb and the roasted duck. Eggplant is good too. Their crispy HK pan fried noodles are delicious, especially the vegetarian, topped with lots of veggies. They deliver to certain areas and its usually still piping hot when it comes.
